With the wedding just two weeks away Mike & Tandi are gearing up for the big day. We chose The University of Montevallo for the portrait session because this is where they first met. The presidents lawn made a great setting for this beautiful photograph.

So many cute children. Elle and Autumn came to visit us last week and had a great time. Elle just celebrated her 2nd Birthday, Happy Birthday Elle.

Baby Anne Nichols , 9 months old came in to see us last week. What a doll. She was full of happiness and as cute as a button.
I love babies at this age, they have so many expression and so much joy to share with the rest of us.

Well this has sure been a busy month. Spring Brings out all the new babies and babies to be, that's for sure. We are very excited to be photographing so many families and soon to be moms. Melanie, Paul, Friday and Sharky had a nice visit to the studio. After a little wine and a lot of fun we were able to capture some fun memorable moments of the Smith family.

Corie & Pat Coyne

The day was April 11th, 2009, Corie and Pat were joined in marriage at the Tutwiler Hotel in Birmingham, AL. A beautiful day it was. Family and friends gathered as the two shared their vows on the front steps of the hotel and then proceeded to their reception with a wonderful slideshow, music, fun and dancing. Truly a sweet couple and we very much enjoyed sharing in their magical day.

What an amazing Salon, not only do they give great haircuts but the service and style offered there is one of a kind. A truly warm welcome as you come in the door, greeted with beverages and a smile. If you are looking for a new salon I highly recommend Salon M2 (squared). I had the wonderful opportunity to collaborate with Sam & Jackie Maniscalco, the owners, to create some images of his clients that we have showcased on his walls in the Salon. Not only am I a client and my stylist Erika is great,btw, but I have become a friend. Hope you enjoy the images and if you are ever off Valleydale you should stop in check out the images, and get a geat doo, while you are there.

How Sweet Newborns Are

Hanlon

Baby Hanlon Elizabeth Finney was born on March 10th, at 12:23am, weighing 7lbs. 3oz and is 20 inches long. Mommy and Daddy let us into their home to experience the joys of having a new baby. Miss Hanlon is as cute as she can be! After a little fuzzy start she warmed right up to the camera and we were able to capture her at her tiniest moment.

Will Rainer

Karen practices family law here in Birmingham, AL. She was in need of some new head shots for her advertising. We gave her a fresh new look and tried to be more creative that just your old typical lawyer shots.

Another busy day in the studio. Chuckie needed some head shots for his modeling gig with Real People located here in Birmingham. We had a great time in the studio. Chuckie was really fun to work with and we made him look HOT for the Model scene.

Alfred & Talina

Wow! What a great day. Alfred and Talina came in for some portraits for my on going project "Saturday Night Live". They were great to work with and we turned out some amazing portraits of them individually and as a couple. Also shot with my brand new lens and I love the look.

Natalie & Jonas

Sunday I had the pleasure of working with Natalie & Jonas. What a wonderful time we had playing around the studio. Jonas is a remarkable 4 year old bursting with energy. Our play date started off with a bang and Jonas warmed right up to the camera. After many stories of batman and all the fun super heroes, we wrapped the session with a lot fun great memories. Here is one of my favorite images. Both of them had the most beautiful blue eyes so i wanted to capture that in this photo and make them pop.

Amazing Babies

As we grow up all our friends start having babies, lucky for me I am a photographer and get to capture the special moments of childhood. I wanted to show off some of the amazing children I have been photographing over the last several months. Children are so beautiful and its so easy to find beauty in them. They are so mystical yet so sweet, and to capture their true innosenses is truly wonderful. If we could only harness that innosenses as they grow and protect them from the world.
